Empowering Leaders: A Recap of the Leverage Series in Boerne, Texas

This week, I had the incredible opportunity to teach the Leverage Series to a group of dedicated and passionate leaders in Boerne, Texas. With 25 attendees coming from various parts of the country, it was a day filled with learning, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence.

The Leverage Series is a pivotal component of leadership development, focusing on empowering individuals to maximize their potential and create a thriving, results-driven environment. During the session, we dove deep into key concepts that are crucial for building strong teams and cultivating success.

What We Learned:

1. Career Visioning: Understanding how to attract, interview, and select the right talent is the foundation of building a successful team. We explored methods for identifying candidates who not only have the skills but also align with the organization’s culture and values.
2. 30-60-90 Framework: Setting clear expectations and providing structured support during the first 90 days is critical for new hires’ success. We discussed strategies for creating tailored plans that help new team members integrate smoothly and start contributing effectively from day one.
3. Success Through Others: Leveraging the strengths and talents of others is key to scaling success. We examined ways to empower team members, delegate effectively, and create opportunities for growth and leadership within the team.

The energy in the room was electric. Each participant brought unique insights and experiences, enriching our discussions and making the session more impactful. The collaborative spirit was evident as everyone shared their challenges and successes, learning from each other’s experiences.
